I’m Marco Molinari. I live in London, where I take apart AIs.
I’ve always been fascinated by the intersection of data and technology. Growing up in Italy, my passion for problem-solving led me to a bronze medal at the Italian National Olympiad in Computer Science, where I ranked in the top 0.22% nationally. Since then, my journey into AI and data science has only deepened, culminating in my current studies at the London School of Economics, where I’ve been honored with the Outstanding Academic Achievement Prize by LSE100 for being in the top 2% of my class.
When I’m not working out or exploring London, I’m leading LSE.AI, the AI research lab I founded at LSE. We’re working on groundbreaking research using large language models, and I’ve had the privilege of scaling our team from 4 to 15 researchers across the UK, US, and EU. I’ve also presented my work globally, including at Meta’s HQ during the Global Llama Community Summit, where I introduced novel LLM applications.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I’ve had the opportunity to apply my expertise in real-world scenarios, from enhancing asset pricing models at Qi4M Asset Management to driving impact at The Good Scientists. These experiences have solidified my belief that the future of AI lies in its ability to transform industries through collaboration and innovation.
Today, I’m committed to pushing the boundaries of AI research and development. Whether it’s through my academic publications, my role as an executive director at LSESU Entrepreneurs, or my hands-on work in AI-driven startups, my mission is to create meaningful, data-driven solutions that impact the world. I look forward to the exciting challenges ahead as I continue to explore the limitless possibilities of AI and machine learning.
